Karate has been a very positive experience in my life. I have been in it for about a year and 8 months and I enjoy every minute of it. Not only is karate about the kicking and punching but it also teaches you about responsibility, having courage, and trying your best at everything. Karate is a great physical activity because it teaches you about balance, coordination and strength. As I go through the program, I can feel myself continuing to get stronger and better at everything I do. One of the most important things karate has taught me is self discipline. It has taught me to do things even if other people don't tell me to do because I know I must. It forces you to constantly say positive things to yourself, which in turn makes you stronger physically and mentally.

I would recommend karate to people of all ages. As an instructor and a student I know how much fun karate is and what a positive experience it is. Karate is not just about the training. Being involved in the program means you get to participate in all the extra activities the school holds. We play games in class; have picnics, skating parties, sleepovers and much more. Karate is one of the best things you can be involved in because of the great knowledge, friendships and strength it has to offer.
